Just flashing another kernel and it working does not mean it is a kernel issue. YouTube is just an app, it is entirely Rom level, it does not interact with the kernel at all! Yet again, if it was a kernel issue, it would be present on all devices, or at least all devices with your specific Rom / kernel combo installed. At most this will be a bug like what most others are noticing due to kernel sources needing updating, and if it is, the bugs will not be limited to just YouTube playback. Please test normal video playback and camera functions and report if they are working.

Hello! I flashed NEAK 2.1.2 last week and up to now three times my phone would forget the ringtones. Default one and the ones for contacts. I don´t know if this is Kernel-related or not, but with NEAK 2.0.6 I had no problems. My ROM is Omega 14 Black&Blue. Thanks for an answer.

This issue may be to do with the updated sources that Simone will merge when he is back from holiday. If it is not due to this, then it will be Rom related.

I also have issues with video playback, maybe some codecs issue in kernel. My .mkv movies that are playable while on Dream kernel stock video player and BS Player are played as audio only with N.E.A.K. (with BS there is a workaround, when I press stretch button it's ok).
