Looks like HTC aren't as dumb as we thought.

This is taken from a leaked RUU for the HTC Speedy (EVO Shift 4G)
Sense 3.6 with Android 4.0.3 Build 3.6.32.21
This has taken out all updates to the bootloader and you will not lose root.

Load zip on SD Card and flash in Bootloader "Volume down + Power"

I won't be updating so this is just going in general. Do what you will with it.

It flashed just fine for me. Great battery life, and really fast kernel. In addition, the ability to sync with iCloud is fantastic.
