Didn't they keep selling the Evo4G for quite awhile after the E3D came out?

There was still a demand for it. They were offering 100 $ for people to turn them in before they got the 3d

ever played with an evo 3d? i gotta admit that 3d **** is neat. i have a couple friends with stock ones, and they both love em. from a modder/rooter/rommer's standpoint it is gimicky and makes it harder to keep the phone on the most current OS,and difficult to keep all the stock features when building AOSP from source.

but if your the average joe who could give a crap wether your phone runs 2.3 or 4.0 its a fun phone to have although cosmetically i personally dont think they are very sexy.

i had a sprint version i played with for awhile, and traded it off... been looking for a gsm one ever since, but theyre apparently not to common in the us.

so the process uses insulated wire instead of the early rumors of paperclips......

Is the other team still working on their version and if so does it differ?

Only reason I ask is I thought there was mention of another team working on a method and that theirs didn't require shorting things out. Then again maybe it was just a difference in terminology.
