Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Lagfix enabled by default? That's what it says in Recovery. I enabled anyway and am waiting to see if I get an SOD today.

Does anyone else have any ideas besides enabling Lagfix that might fix the SOD issues? My wife and I love this ROM, but we both get SODs probably 2-4 times/day and I use mine for work, so I'll go to turn it on and find that it's been off for an hour or more and have to hold the power button to boot it up.

We're both running the latest Eman with Zen Arcade's latest version of Bedwa's Infusion Core A.

Thanks!! I don't want to leave this ROM.

I am not why you are all getting sod. I have had lag fix enabled since minute 1. Loaded infusion gb core A kernel. Set clock max at 1200 and governer at conservative. No UV. And it is as stable as it can be.

Hmmm...I'll try changing the Voltage Control governor to conservative and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the reply.

I had lots of SODs for quite some time. I always thought the bad download / bad flash was just an excuse. Until I re downloaded and flashed a fresh copy of Eman.
Now ... in 8 weeks or so ... 2 sod ... running great. My advice ... re download ... flash ... enjoy being Emancipated. As a side note ... I did reflash several times without re downloading ... still had SOD.
Hope this helps you and your wife. Good luck and happy flashing.

Dude, if you don't fix permissions under the advanced tab in CW AFTER, you're spitting in the wind. When you wipe everything, factory reset ---- fix permissions ---- then flash the rom. Skipping this step will cause sod, lockups, and odd behavior.

Matter of fact, with all this flashing you're doing, are you sure it isn't something coming in from a backup you restore when you get it up? An app that isn't playing nice? I restore no apps, I go get them fresh. I switch immediately to zeam launcher. I have zero trouble. Maybe an occasional restart due to me doing to many things at once... To be honest, I've tried to leave this rom, can't, its the only one there that does everything, does it stable, and never crashes on me.

When my phone boots up it says 'new message arrived'. Why and how can I change it.

All have been read and no unheard voice mail. This was said from the beginning of flash. Before phone was synced.
