Make sure you are using the charger and lead that came with your hox and try charging with it powered off with fast boot disabled

I'm exactly on 1 hour now with 81 percent. I don't use htc. Sense anymore. Instead I use nova launcher. Sense is beautiful no doubt. However it is also an evil battery drainer .. First thing to change if you want a better battery life.

2nd I disabled all sync apps that I don't need.

3rd. I disabled the first 3 checkmarks in settings> sound.. and keyboard vibration

Oh yeah and I rooted my phone and am on Android revolution HD 7.1.0 rom

stock 4 hours screen on time seemed achievable. Now I must say 4 hours is easily there... even 5 I believe but I don't bother depleting my phone anymore. I might deplete the battery today just to show the difference. The first two days on this new Rom battery wasn't great. Now, however, im really loving it.

Thought I'd updates you guys again about my battery stats? 62% and 2h and a minute or so screen on time

I got my One X on Monday and its an amazing phone. As soon as I got it I charged it to full before using it. So in my first charge I only got 4 hours of battery life with 4 hours screen on time. This all just involved setting up the phone and playing games etc so quite heavy use

Below is from my second charge

My settings were auto brightness, sync on constantly, usually every one or two hours. Also I haven't disabled any apps just yet. Anything else you'd like to know just ask

I'm still completely stock and running 1.26. I may update to 1.28 in a few days (its the latest one from three UK)
