Well, I'm not so sure, but they might.
Flash the animation packs & see. If they work, well & good!
If they don't, & break something, just reflash the theme packs!

No, not yet! But AFAIK, the *wakelock* is an issue, which not just drains battery, but keeps phone from entering Deep Sleep, or proper Idle States!
So, Sync + WiFi is a no-no for ICS!
I don't know, or think, that flashing different kernel would solve it. But I'll give it a shot.
Will tell you what happens.

There's no drain in the ROM
If by chance there is, something wrong had happened. Wipe + flash again should do it.
As for calibrating... Li-ion Batteries don't have 'memory' feature of primitive cellphones batteries. So, there's no such thing as 'calibration'. (I know, its contradictory, but hey, you can't argue with facts that go as deep as the making of the Li-ion batteries...)

Anyway, the wakelock is a pain in the ass.
Do tell me if you find some solution...

Battery calibration is totally useless on ICS ROMs. Never did it and my battery is perfect.

this is one of the most stupid things i've ever heard!!!!!! my battery last 2-3 hours more if i calibrate it well, if not it last few hours(8-9)

according to his formula one has to change the dpi down to 128 (which turn the phone unusable for me), but can we change the "mStatusBarCanHide" value in order to enable tablet UI with 160 or greater dpi ?
