After more than 7-8 restart i STILL CAN change it. And yes, I still must change to the MMS APN so I can send it. You should try it - it's not the best way but it kinda works for me I tried surfing while I was using MMS APN - nothing happens - can NOT surf or even update a weather app or anything else except sending the MMS. After that I switch back to the Wap APN and all is fine and working I'm not really using the SMS or MMS that often, in fact more than once/twice a month is too much for me, but it's kind of a bug so that's why I'm trying to help up....

P.S. Got no free time to set up the logcat these days though....

DONATE TO ME
Tried sending mms on 7.2 but got nothing to work.
The stock apns are correct (comparing them this website).
Deleted all the apns, tried installing an app called apn portugal (had to convert it to system app (using titanium backup pro) to run), the apns it created were similar to the ones on the site.
Guess it is ICS problem:
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=23233
Some friends have Nexus S and Galaxy S and have the same problem with ICS.I even copied my apn from Niks V4.5 to their phones (same carrier) and no go.

This is the nik 4.5 apn settings:
Quote:

Name: Vodafone Internet

APN: net2.vodafone.pt

Proxy: iproxy.vodafone.pt

Port: 80

Username: vodafone

Password: vodafone
vodafone
Server: (nothing)

MMSC: http://mms/servlets/mms

MMS proxy: iproxy.vodafone.pt

MMS port: 80
MCC: 268

MNC: 01

APN type: *
Edit:
on Nik's sense 4 rom v1.3 mms work.the apn is the same as on nik v4.5.maybe it is the setting "MMS Portocol" - wap 2.0 that makes the difference.AOSP roms don't have it...

About the wap 2.0, i posted that a few posts back but no replies on that. All settings seems the same except for that particular field which is missing. Most likely the issue as I can't see anything else that might be.

Do you have data on Vizzy? It only works for me if I have data on. After flashing 7.2 I didnt have to change a thing. I have read in this thread that changing to one apn that cobines data and mms may help too but I'm hesitant to try that as I don't want optus reaming me for a tonne of data charges lol

Love the rom, but no mms. Everything else works.

Canada
Icecoldsandwitch latest

Rogers
rogers-core-appl1.apn
Mmsc: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
Mms proxy: 10.128.1.69
Mms port: 80
Mcc: 302
Mnc: 720
Apn type: Internet+mms+supl

Dunno how to do logcat.
Tried fac reset, wipe. Then twice over again with fresh install. Tried playground ics to, but the whole thing was buggy. Other rooms work. Used dark wipe once as well. Edited apns, rewrote. Erased them all and wrote new. Even called rogers to reset me on the network.

I'm at a loss on what to do now.
Any help well be greatly appreciated thanks, good job on rom other then mms
