Default One x came last grrr.

Had a chance to compare the one x, running official 4.0.3 software, galaxy nexus, running CM9 4.0.4 and a galaxy s2, running ning official rooted 4.0.3,and to my surprise, the galaxy nexus and galaxy s2, would open YouTube videos first and play them, before the one x. Obviously this was for my own testing, so didn't record this on video, but was surprised as expected the one x, to traunce the old Samsung "guard", but alas, the Samsung 2,were superior. I done this via the same wifi connection.

Well, you would have been perfectly content had you not measured them against eachother, so why not just forget it and remain, indeed, perfectly content? This is one of those things where it's more subjective and probably won't matter to most, seeing as objective benchmarks put it far and away from both the S2 and Nexus.

Did you find the YouTube performance an issue with your other phones and this was the reason to upgrade? If so then fair enough, otherwise one test on one app speed does not tell the story of the whole phone. Also, as a brand new phone there will always be improvements to come from firmware updates, so I wouldn't worry too much.

No what happened was, I was just trying to impress my wife, hoping she would be happy, as it's hers, so she asked, what was the main difference between the one x and the galaxy s2, which which she had been using till today, so because she liked YouTube, i decided, to try and show her, how well the new gadget performed, much to my dismay, but as you have said, updates should solve this.

I guess it's the YouTube app that needs to be tweaked to harness the full power of the One X.
