Smartphone UEIN A101 Dual Sim Dual Core

A collegue of mine has bought this mobile for 100 Euro.
It is Android based 2.3 with 24 month warranty (at least in Italy).

It works preatty well , smooth abd quick , good pictures Dual Sim and one is UMTS.

I just wander if someone knows something about this and how to root it.

Thanks to who have any notice on this mobile.

I like it, I mean, she likes it.. LOL

I just would like to know more about the phone , which ROM can be used, etc...

It's a mediatek processor powered phone from china running at 650mhz and can be overclocked to 806mhz.

The rom is a cyanogenmod based rom with a lot of features removed (somewhat all of them)

There are no custom roms and there is maybe a clockworkmodrecovery for it but I would have to look that up if you want it.

There are also no themes or customization for it...
But I'm working at porting some well known CM7 themes to mtk6573 phones.

Also if you want to hide the ugly color borders around the connection icons, I have a patch for that.

And rooting can be simply done with superoneclick as on most phones :P

Working on a ICS port for the mtk6573 processor phones(HDC A9100 will be first) but process is going slowly and custom ICS kernel is still failing to boot over here >.>

Maybe when some mtk6575 phones with ICS are released the development will go faster for mtk6573 since I can use that code to base stuff on then ^^
