Default [Q] flash issues, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I got it from a guy while it was still on his cricket account and still running internet. I activated it today on the $55 plan and there is no data whatsoever, not even a freaking 3g symbol..

I opened up ##data# and all the settings had reverted to the stock sprint. I edited the settings with the ones I had found on numerous websites explaining the flash and still nothing...even did the Bettercut homescreen shortcut to edit Wap settings to cricket. Talk and text works great, but no data. Its on the android 2.3.3 with a 35613 prl. Its on the stock Rom and its not rooted. I live in Wichita Kansas if that helps. Can anybody tell me what's the deal???
