Is there a way to dim the button leds while watching a video?

Is it even possible to make a mod like that?

try buttons backlight available on playstore but requires root

Hold the power button till they start flashing, then let go and they should be off. Annoying to do it every time but doesn't need root. Capacitive buttons on play store does it permanently but does need root.

Said app doesn't work properly on all roms

Eg aokp 4.2 its either on or off.dim doesn't work
