I tried out this method. Thought it was pretty intuitive but it definitely increases chances of getting some dust or curly so not sure I'd recommend it. Definitely one of the best methods for not getting any air bubbles though.

rearth should be a pretty good brand. Only issues with dry installs is the sides possibly curling up and not staying stuck to the screen since the screen is curved.

Boxwave is also a good brand, but may have problems with the curved edges.

Otherwise I recommend XO Skins

No camera lens protector.

And don't put anything on the camera lens. You will degrade the camera quality greatly.

can those which have a wet applied screen protector compare how using it compares to the original screen.

basically i want a protector which will cover the whole screen and you all know that only the wet applied ones will do that due to the curve of the screen.

I have used these before and i find that that are kind of "grippy" i prefer the feel of the hard type screen protectors.

just wanted to know how grippy the others are finding it.

thanks

It's going to be more grippy than a regular screen or dry protector. It's personal preference what you think is very grippy to the extent where it annoys you. I feel that though it is grippier, i'm fine with it.

I'm having problems with Skinomi right now, haven't seen any other skinomi users chime in with the problems i've had.

It looks like i'm going to be having the problem though with both screen protectors as i've posted earlier.

For now, would recommend XO Skins or anybody that would like to try out the rearth or boxwave dry protectors which are cut to fill the whole screen

I want to order a screen protector for my HOX (today!), and I can't decide which one I should take..
Obviously a wet application one, but which one?
Skinomi, Realook, BestSkinsEver, etc..
Please answer me quickly as I want to order one in the next hour

Avoid skinomi for now......

I can only recommend XO skins, i've used them before and installation has always gone well. Better than Zagg, havn't tried the others you've posted.

Tried two wet screen protectors, one was Invisible Shield. Yes, they are grippy, swiping can be very frustrating. And the worst thing is that the screen quality is bad with them on. White and light sections on the screen will be covered with small dots. I didnt buy an high end HOX to ruin its beautiful screen with some rubber.

I bought a back case from ebay and it came with 2 screen protectors from Terrapin. At first, I didn't even try them 'cause I thought they were lame.

But since I ruined my Vikuiti during its application, I gave Terrapin a try. I was positively surprised: it's thinner, better to the touch and more natural than Vikuiti. I tried scratching with a key several times and it resisted very well.

Just one thing: read the instructions, since the screen protectos is glued to 2 plastic pellicles, one on the back and other on the front. I didn't notice this and for a few hours I had a plastic pelicule on top of the screen protector and with this 2 layers the result was lame, eheh.
HTC Hero -> HTC HD2 -> HTC One X
