Don't rule out HW issues, SGS2 had screen issues no amount of firmwares or kernels could fix these they were clearly HW. Faulty screens can occur like any other product.
Now: Nexus 4
Rom: RasSaber - Nexus 4 on crack | Der Kernel: Trinity

Previous: HTC DesireHD > Samsung Galaxy SII > T-Mobile Rapport > Samsung Galaxy S (Backup) > Samsung Galaxy SIII (Brief ownership) > Samsung Galaxy Note II > HTC One X

Tablet: the New iPad
Yes I know! But it's a great tablet

You said if you press on the corners it does ripple effects (like on the samsung Jet I had)
Stars usually decrease 30-60$ every tuesday
So it will be this tuesday or next one

yes on the side not ton the screen itself, it does a typical LCD ripple which it shouldn't i know but its hit and miss, i dont think HTC is considering it a problem most of the ones we opened yest had it, and since i had it its never occuring during use, its very hard to make it happen

only one handset which has a slightly bright screen is completely free of ripple, its also been open for over 1 week now so maybe it heals?

Flex which like really tiny flex have no effect on the scree, its a seperate thing than the ripple

screen ripple is not software though and not a defect in my eyes, its a hardware trait, it needs intentional effort to make it manifest

people are just being too damn picky

all my iColleauges yesterday were floored they didn't believe what they are saying and couldn't say a word against except "di3ano bil android" but they did say it it makes the iPhone 4s look old gen

but i admit i was scared to death the gallery glitches won't occur while we were playing with the camera

attached is my grey vs the 1 week older white, you can see the different in color warmness, mind you compared to other screens they are both considered warm calibrated, the pics show big difference but in reality, the white had like 15% more brightness which is why its whiter, but im thinking it might be the lamination glue after a week of use, they are really 90% exact in practice

here is how it is today, keep in mind its a lot worse at this angle plus with camera, taken by the Sensation camera, ill take another one in few days

I wonder if these flex and ripples are not related to SLCD2 technology?

what about this kind of bug: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKAM3...eature=related

mate i pointed the flex/ripple to the guys with me buying @ stars and they were not even fuzzed, nevermind it just test your device

and honestly the worst flexing screen of my cousin went back into place by some pressure and using the DHD official pouch, his phone fell down later and still good

im not saying its all wonderful, im saying the problems are not as disasterous as people make it sound

if flex is pretty bad and causing screen problem ok maybe we should worry

but imagine this the One X is exactly like the sensation the back cover is just a shell and you could still use the Sensation without its back cover at all! whats flexing is the main phone against its shell thats all, no reason to worry, ripple is not from the screen pressure but the sides, might be related to how proximite it is to surface, if i have to choose less surface proximity or ripple, i choose ripple that is no way to trigger in normal use

ok HTC should pay me!!
