[Q] UK One X - data connectivity question
I've run into an annoying issue that I remember happening when my Desire HD was updated to Sense 3 and hoped would not be present in the One X. At night, it's currently 3:17am for example, if the phone is in standby for any length of time it will kill the data connection. As soon as I wake the phone up it takes a few seconds and then the data connection is back as if nothing happened. It isn't a network issue, it's purely an HTC handset issue and I'm almost certain it's a power saving feature but there's no way I've found to disable it.
In Sense 3 there were options for something similar to CyanogenMod's 'quiet hours' feature but in Sense 3 it just killed the connection between set hours. It's a smart idea for saving battery when most people are asleep but that's the key word, most. I really hope I'm just missing the option somehow because to set this up as a set option with no changes possible would be very shortsighted.
Has anyone else noticed this? If so, have you found a way to disable this 'feature'?
