You can use whichever boot animation you want with any rom you want. You can extract it from 2.0 using root explorer or any file maintenance app and save it somewhere on your sd card to copy over into any rom. The bootanimation is in the system > media> folder and it should be named sanim.

you can just pull it out of the version2 zip file... Or..easier....I think kg may have provided it as a sep file for download in this thread...somewhere. When I did it, I had to replace both bootanination.zip and sanim.zip in the system/media folder...

Be sure to mount system first if on mtd... I used zarchiver and ES File Explorer...there are other apps you can use...

You need to either go back and read the OP, or this whole thread. Those are Samsung or Google Apps which are not essential, Kenny placed an additional zip with all of those, you can flash that and then delete what you do not want. Someone else also posted the calendar app separate somewhere in this thread.

Yeah...almost all the answers to the last few pages of problems/troubles are already solved in the very same thread, do a search first!

I just renamed both the bootanimation and sanim.zip to zip.old and copied the files from 2.0 and it works I have the android zapping the apple again.

I simply downloaded the business free calendar from the google play store it works just like the original calendar.

I was always able to see the whole bootani. The apple would get zapped, the screen would darken then the lockscreen would pop up.
