Alternate kernel:
You should be able to use any AOSP (read: not Sense) ICS kernel.
Currently the ROM comes with the same kernel that's in the base ROM for that version. You can check your kernel version in Settings > About Phone, you see "Kernel Version"
Lordmod kernels are very popular and located here: http://blackice.omca.co.uk/download/...wich%2FKernels Edit: With Jellybean builds, try out the KangBang test kernels here: http://synergy.codefi.re/KB-7x30-TestKernels
Remember to always wipe dalvik-cache when flashing a kernel.
(want me to list your kernel? shoot me a pm)

"Do I need/can I use inspiremod?"
If you use it with other ROMs, use it with this one. It works fine without it for me, I've never suffered from the tinny sound effect, but it is compatible with this ROM.

Having trouble with GPS/Location?
This may help:
First, check in Settings > Location services and make sure Google's location service is turned on.
Download GPS Status & Toolbox from the Play Store
Preferably for the first lock, you should be outside with a clear view of the sky.
Turn GPS on, open GPS Status.
Hit Menu, Tools, Manage A-GPS state
Hit Reset
Go back to Manage A-GPS state menu, hit Download
You should get a lock of 6-7+ satellites within a minute or two. Future locks should be within 30 seconds or so.

Having another issue?
Before posting here with issues, please make sure you:
Read the last two pages of the thread
Are able to reproduce the issue
Have full wiped. Upgrades are usually okay, but if you're having an issue, the first step is always trying a full wipe. Feel free to do a nandroid so if the issue persists you can restore your data.
Tell me what version you're running.
Provide steps to reproduce the error.
Provide a logcat
If you do not follow these guidelines, you will be ignored.
How to logcat:
Probably the easiest way to provide a logcat, is with aLogcat.
Open aLogcat after whatever incident you would like to report,
Hit Menu > Save
Files save to /sdcard/alogcat/

How to boot into recovery:
Open Updater app, hit Menu > Reboot to Recovery
Issue `adb reboot recovery` from a computer or `su -c "reboot recovery"` from within Terminal Emulator app
This is the official MIUI.us port of MIUI v4. I use 0xD34D (lithium76 here on xda)'s N1 build which he ports directly from Nexus S (one of the only official ICS MIUI ROMs from China) and LorD ClockaN's Ice Cold Sandwich to put this together.
Edit: Sorry, I forgot I wanted to say more. The official MIUI 2.4.6 for the Ace (DHD/Inspire) is still Gingerbread based, until we get official ICS, and then China will make an ICS MIUI for us.
Given the amount of coverage that Android receives around here, you could almost be … more
