[Q] How to get THANKS button

can someone tell me how to get "thanks" button ??
And post below my ques wat rom i use .. ??
Please hellp as i am new xda.. !!

Thanks button is there on each post by default, you don't need to do anything (except pressing it)
And since you are a newbie, I suggest you read all the stickies and rules in the sub-forum...

I hit "thanks" on the above OP (YOUR QUESTION), because I have finally found some place to post a small (but potentially helpful) piece of information.

I've searched for answers similar questions about the 'thanks button' before, and read every NOOB and Sticky post and even instructional posts elsewhere on this website, but never found any helpful info about the below particular fact, until I stumbled across it by accident.

There may be other's who are confused about this 'Thanks Button' also, or who see requests for it, in the signatures of senior members, but can't make heads or tails of it, because they can't even find the dang thing.

For instance, here's a screencap of your last post in this thread:



...which as you can see, might be highly confusing to a NOOB, who understandably might not want to draw the wrath of the mall-cops who LOVE to spout off crap about searching for answers REGARDLESS -- even when there frankly are NOT any easy-to-find, or clear and fully detailed answers to the question, and when you HAVE ALREADY searched for those answers.

So, if that is the case, with someone searching for the answer to a question about the thanks button, and they stumble across this post, here's the freagin answer!:



...just change the style in the lower-right drop-down box (assuming you are on a full-size browser), and then...



..then you should be able to see the "thanks button" on people's posts, and actually click it, for those more courteous people, who enjoy helping others, and who write clear enough to be understood.

ya it is by dafult you cant see your thanks button and don't afried it is seen to me and other

At that time i was a newbie ... so i dint knew much about it ...

and i cant see ur attachments ... .. post them again ... !
