Download the file then unzip it you will find the tar file necessary to flash back to stock

No, it didn't download as a zip file. It saved as a 7Z file.

Yes this returns the phone back to stock so you will lose root.

I personally use 7zip.. so you can grab it and unzip it with 7zip.

7z files are the same as zip files but 7zip's extension and IIRC it compresses more.

Question How to return to the stock ROM but with root?

Howdy folks!

I have a noob question: can I replace boot.img in the stock ROM (SGH-T769-UVLB7-hitsquad.tar) with the one from blaze-root-kernel.tar? This way, if I install stock ROM, will it make it rooted? I assume many people for various reasons need to return to a stock ROM but would still like it to be rooted.
