I went through 3 "New Batch" aka "Green Sticker" phones yesterday and they all have this shi^^y vibrate rattle. It sounds like the angle of the hole its off and as it spins it is hitting something. I spent about 30 minutes in a chat with Nokia support today. He told me he was forwarding the info to R&D and that escalated support was going to call in in the next 24-48 hours to discuss the issues. I also reported the camera button not waking the phone and the volume buttons not work under lock screen with out headphones. The first phone I had just vibrated, it didn't make this loud sound. It had a speaker issue or I wouldn't have returned it.

Yeah, I'm on my third Lumia man. I e-mailed Nokia support directly, I'm just nervous it could fall apart after my 30 days and I'll be stuck with a refurbed phone. They fixed the camera wake issue (though I never had it) with the new update, along with a list of other things - I'm assuming all related to the memory management bug.

I asked Nokia to advise me on how to get a final replacement phone.

Default Lumia 900 Rattle

I've got the same issue. It certainly sounds like the camera is slamming against the glass.

I've got the vibrate issue as well and it's pretty bad depending on the angle of the phone. It's really the only problem I have with this phone.
Like others have stated, I am pretty sure it's the camera doing the rattling.

I spoke with Nokia and they said to bring it to AT&T and get another one from the new batch, so went to my local AT&T store and talked to them about it and they said they would be happy to swap it for another however they don't have any Lumia 900's in stock and the next shipment is due in next week.
I will definitely be going back to see if these other units have the issue.

So I stopped in my local AT&T store to look at some cases. Its on the way home from work, so its not out of the way. I walked in and the guy who sold me the phone walked over and asked how it was going...He asked to check out my phone, he wanted to see something. He turned it off and then back on. He said you got the virbrate rattle. Let me swap it out for you. I was surprised, because, being hard of hearing, I never heard the rattle before. So, he swapped out the phone. When I got home I tried....yup...rattle still there..and now I have a purple screen too.

But, he offered and I didn't ask....at least that was intended to be helpful.....
Regards
