It's a small bug, not a big deal though
it's a feature, not a bug

Did you--
wipe: yes
restore with titanium backup: no
reboot after having the issue: yes

Are you using--
a task killer: no
a non-stock kernel: no
CMSettings/Performance settings (other than stock): no
other modifications: no

Provide any additional information (observations/frequency of problem/last version it worked on/etc) as needed:
I was able to reproduce the problem.
without fix all is working fine...
but with fix it only works till u restart the phone. after restart navigation crashes. deinstalling and installing maps helps but again only till u restart ur phone.
also noticed that my statement from above saying it was working on previous nightly was false. right after I found that error on my phone with actual nightly my girlfriend with previous nightly called me to tell me that after a restart because of empty battery she's facing the same error.
on my phone I just havent recognized it before because between flashing fix and and newest nightly I havent restarted the phone.

nobody with similar problem?
latest nightly all stock
Please upload it elsewhere, XDA corrupted the attachment. (Seems to be doing that a lot lately.)

Did you get the logcat right after the force close? I can't see the crash in the log.

started log and after that navigation.
app opened I entered destination and loading screen of navigation app started. then nothing happened and message came up:
app hangs wanna wait or quit.
when u choose wait nothing hapens and quit exits the app.
deinstalling and installing maps brings a temporaly solution till next restart.

that's all I can tell u for now since I don't use the fix on my freshly installed rom.
If u can tell me a way to delete fix and don't have to reflash the rom I will try the fix on actual rom again m8

this line in log is not the right one?
Force finishing activity com.google.android.apps.maps/com.google.android.maps.driveabout.app.NavigationA ctivity
I/ActivityManager( 193): Killing ProcessRecord{416a2520 2015:com.google.android.apps.maps:driveabout/10073}: user's request

Yeah! If there's no video problems, are we gonna have this kernel implementation in the next nightly?

I think that the question is more about if it will be implemented at all, so if Pawitp thinks this will be possible maybe... (what I would like to know, too)
