Why do you have screen off at 500mhz? Wouldn't it be better for the battery at 50mhz? Thats what I have it set at.

that's just the default. I'm actually kind of confused by that, cause as the first number goes down, the mhz goes up, which doesn't make sense to me, ktoon, care to shed some light ? (im talking about screen off min step in lulz app)
Nexus 4
Nexus 7

That's why I was surprised you had it so high. I'm gonna leave at that until something goes wrong

Mine is set to 500 by default also, phone doesn't seem to run at 500 during sleep. I believe that value to be the max allowed when screen is off hence 500 would be max while screen off.
Current Phone:
AT&T HTC One X - 16GB - Slim Bean

SGS II I777 running - Slim Bean

Tablets
Nexus 7 - 16GB - Smoothrom
HP Touchpad 32GB & 16GB running CM10.1

I like some of the benefits of the siyah kernel but scrolling (in opera mobile) is sooooo slow compared to the stock xwlp7 kernel. Is there any way to fix this?

Try Google chrome browser.
Its way better than opera

Or check the settings in rom control. There's a scrolling option on there...

Try 100.. if you have wake problems set it to 200. Also, some governors cause wake problems with low frequencies.
I'm using latest siyah with revised lulzactive, 18 steps 100-1400mhz using so instead of cfq.

No problems at all, great battery life and performance

I never understood why people use the 100 step. Same voltage as 200 and one less frequency to scale which would save battery.
