I'm getting MUCH better battery life with 323 than with 322.

Thanks!

When I used all 18 steps I noticed my phone liked to spend a lot of time at 100. I ended up choosing the option for the least amount of steps that included 100mhz (6 steps +100 and 1400 i believe) and battery life improved over just the 5 steps.

100mhz and 200mhz are the same voltage. Unless u undervolted the 100mhz step it was just placebo.

the rom has nothing to do with it. its in the kernel. adding another step (100) and then undervolting it 25 is counter productive because it give the cpu another step to scale. so in all reality it does nothing special and most often times offers no battery savings. even if it did not very much at all. -25 is not a lot of power on one step.

I've seen it explained as P=f*V^2 (yeah, I know there are supposed to be some other variables in there). So while the power consumed drops rapidly with undervolting, it also drops with underclocking.

Also as my first post in the thread, I have to say, great kernel. Love the customizability. Thanks for porting it over, ktoonsez.

correct except when scaling more frequencies. it more or less counters undervolting the more steps u add though. just me experience.
