oh i get that part. But will you really see a %5+ increase in real world battery life? and if current increases due to a lower voltage, then it turns out to be a wash. (no idea if it does or not)
Like i said i just started undervolting, so i have no idea what my outcome will be, or if it'll be noticible, but it seemed like something fun to do, higher efficiency == better (sorry i'll quit going offtopic in your thread now though)
I do undervolt usually, more out of boredom than anything else. I do not think it actually provides any measurable benefit. The only thing that I can say for certain about undervolting is that it does cause at least some measure of instability.
Reducing the screen brightness on the other hand will produce battery savings that are very real.

Like I said it could be phone specific. Your phone just may not like uv/siyah/ICS combo.
Right, that's probably what it is for me. But I'm definitely not making mistakes as stupid as some of the people in Task's thread.

Here's another report after the second screen freeze of the day. Sorry for being the harbinger of bad news.
This time, the screen froze while I was playing a game, Where's My Water, while the phone was charging from an A/C supply. Again, I haven't yet UV/OC. My phone specs are unchanged from today morning's report.
