I have a global version cyan lumia900 from a friend from MICROSOFT and an ATT version lumia900 from ebay. I am still waiting the unlock code for my girlfriend.

Not trustworthy. There are so many "fishermen/women" in China, they just put something out and see if anyone can "get hooked". BTW, if one can unlock a Lumia 900, then it won't the only one.

Phone was out in mid April so it means the exclusivity period ends late May, early June. I emailed Nokia so I will see what they say. Also, I am thinking to start bugging AT&T Customer Care via Skype until they give me the unlock code :P

I think you can say the exclusive rights are over...or only days away. Original release date was supposed to be ...was it March 19th??? I think you can start counting your 45 days from around then.

I have just hang out a phone after a talk with customer service agent at AT&T who told me that there is no solution for that issue and they will not provide unlock and no chance for AT&T to do that as of today. She advised me to talk to Nokia in this respect. I have a bought a handset at amazonwireless for a maximum price available there ($450), I guess we need a complete solution for an unlock...

ATT has unlock codes and they can provide you. But i think it all depends on whom and what high level u speak to in ATT.

No dice with AT&T customer service. The lady even said the code won't be available till October...of next year as opposed to what others have been told.

The waiting game continues.

well i am now using a omnia 7 and was hoping to upgrade to the 900 but i might as well just buy the 800 because there is no hope for unlocking the 900 soon..too bad

Called AT&T a week ago, first they said they cannot unlock it, then I said the device was bought at full price and I have to have it unlocked for business purposes. The rep talked to her supervisor for 20 minutes who said that they will unlock it for me. Submitted a case for it with 100% certainty from supervisor that it will be unlocked. Few days later got a rejection email. Called to AT&T and they said case was resolved with rejection, and then told me that the case was reopened again by someone few minutes later. Now I have to wait until 23rd. Have no idea what is happening.
