HI people, i'm back with another Optimus 2X, some time ago due college i stop using android and i sold my HTC Sensation, now i have more time, and i wanted to buy another android, but you know, my money at this
moment isnt the best... so the best phone performance/price is the optimus 2X, and i bought it.

Just in case i really love nvidia ( also ati ) , isn't that much as GSII or HTCS, but it OWNS!
Well im going to stop talking and start to show you the important thing



First of all, just to be sure, this MOD can't break your device, if the camera doesnt
work is due some "trouble or bug" or your rom isn't compatible. ( ICS or FROYO )


INFORMATION ABOUT VERSIONS, PLEASE READ.


FIRST OF ALL
About the bitrate, lower modes than D1, doesnt have custom bitrate, so bitrate selector isnt used, i mean 40mbps is not 40mbps its like stock, so D1, VGA, HD and FHD are the only ones who use the bitrate selector.

• Small improvement on image quality
• Stock FPS for 1080p
• Bitrate selector from 10 to 30mbps.
  ( only for spainish and english the rest is the usual quality selector )
• Few FPS tweaks.
• MP4 as output file.
• Higher camera performance ( less blurred movies under movement ).
• Memory boost 50MB.
• Added crazy media profiles, haha lol ( really it doesnt do anything )
• increased audio sampling rate to 44.1kHz

• Same as O2X-E but with litle diferent style. ( Icons and UI )
  this is totally optional, and if you dislike there is the stock version.

• FPS for 1080p @ 30FPS ( require fast SD and overclocked to avoid "fps dropping" )
• Bitrate selector from 15 to 40mbps.
  ( only for spainish and english the rest is the usual quality selector )
• Few FPS tweaks.
• MP4 as output file.
• Higher camera performance ( less blurred movies under movement ).
• Memory boost 50MB.
• Added crazy media profiles, haha lol ( really it doesnt do anything )
• increased audio sampling rate to 44.1kHz

Not updated

• Try recording audio bitrate 128 or 192 or 256kbps. ( it overload the phone )

Possible bugs or errors.

• Sometimes the FPS went down when the light changes.
• The phone may freeze if you dont have a fast micro SD ( when writing the video )
• Random performance issue when using apps on background, solution use External SD to store your videos.

What i have in my mind.

• I want to play with 60 FPS ( 1080P impossible atleast for now, so 720P or D1 )
• Modify the weird LG UI, with another more Eye-like.
• Try to enable ISO 1200.
• Try to enable continous-autofocus.

  I made a mistake when putting the bitrate on the middle image, that is 16MBPS.

  much more why the 30mbps version is better on high detailed areas, or when you're moving the camera.

Both, photo and video ( as you can see in the comparison ).
But for now, photo quality isnt much improved, just a bit.

Can you try to make this work with CM7? I guess this only works on stock rom.

But I prefer Flix's one because the camera save in .mp4 and no .3gp.
Sound is not in sync' in 1080p super fine and probably other... like in Flix's one

Im looking at the APK, i found few interesting things, but also i want to look at kernel level, but about that i dont have too much idea ( i dont know how to make a kernel ) someone can tell me where i can find a kernel developer
to help me with this?

All to increase the camera capabilityes.
And yes, its based on V20q.

Yes of course, but now only for stable 2.3.4 ROMS based on V20q

There's a developer here that ported the stock camera to CM7. Maybe you should ask him how he did that?
