All looking good on 1.4 to me, great work...however one little thing I've noticed is that the box that appears on the home screen while scrolling has gone from red back to blue.

Apart from that, its great :)

That was probably because I reverted everything that wasn't part of the system, which included Trebuchet, to stock. I rebased, every image was redone between 1.2 to 1.4, nothing was copied over (and the app was completely restructured too), thats why SuperUser is not included either. Apex and Trebuchet will make it soon though Sorry for the inconvenience.

Click the text that says download in big letters, right under the screen shot.

I'm getting the same thing on CM9 A6 on E4GT / SGS2 Sprint. A real shame, because I really like how clean this looks, but I can't have it on my phone because of this error constantly popping up whenever I try to install it.

Sorry dude, but I don't know what to tell ya. Every time I ask other theme devs, they say : 1. Apply the system theme. 2. Reboot. 3. Install my theme. Apply. If it still doesn't work, after applying the system theme, clear cache and data, and FC, the Theme Chooser app and Theme Provider. Then reboot. Then continue to step 3. Another thread even says decompile and recompile and sign it with your SGS2-specific set up and see if that works...

I have all the assets needed to work on any phone, straight from the source of CM... mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, nodpi... and its compiled the same way and installs on other devices. Only the SGS2 presents that problem constantly.

I'm sorry guys, and I'm not trying to sound like you're SOL, I've just spent a sh*t load of time trying to figure it out, find the difference between mine and others that have been said to work successfully... if you have fresh ideas I can try, I'm open to trying and making it work, but I'm out of ideas and ready to pitch my computer out the window...

Ok folks, I have a new process for how to possibly get past the "theme incorrectly applied" error. If you were successful, disregard this post (and the new section in the OP).

If you get the "theme incorrectly compiled" error, try this:
  • Apply System theme
  • clear data and Force Close the Theme Chooser and Themes Provider apps in the "Apps" seciton.
  • reboot in to RECOVERY
  • Clear cache and dalvik cache
  • reboot regularly
  • apply the theme

Please let me know if this works for any of you. It was how a Galaxy Nexus got it to work, so I haven't narrowed it down to my build. But this may help us narrow it down.

Thanks!

Sorry, followed the steps above, still no love on the SGS II Skyrocket. I appreciate all the effort you have put into this to try and get it working for us, it seems to be a lost cause unfortunately.

I forgot one thing in that list, can you also try clearing cache for SystemUI then rebooting, before applying the theme? Let me know how that works. I also have a new build that removes and adds some elements for the theme (not system elements) that may possibly be part of the issue, I'll post later on; I looked at the structure of HoloRed and applied the same to my layout.

It may also be an issue with the compiling and signing, but I think it just doesn't like me and my set up

Once you have the new build I will try it out using the new process.
