The CM page says it added CIFS and FUSE to the CM kernel. What the heck is that?

CIFS=common internet file system and fuse=file system in user space... that should make it easier to google... fuse basically makes it possible to implement a fully functioning file system in a program, or something like that... CIFS is a protocol that defines a standard for remote file access using millions of computers at a time.... cifs allows people using different platforms to share files without installing new software... cifs runs over tcp/ip but uses SMB protocol found in microsoft windows for file and printer access, thus allowing all applications and not just web browsers to open and share files accross the internet... with cifs changes made to a file change on the server and client side simultaneously... that's what it is for a cpu... can't imagine its too different on android...

I'm wondering why the voltages for 1200, 1300, and 1400 were raised in 5.0 compared to 4.3. I tried undervolting those frequencies back to what worked well for me with 4.3, but they are unstable with 5.0. Doesn't seem like the kernel could effect what voltages are stable, but somehow it does...

We become wise by failure rather than success. We often discover what will do, by finding out what will not do; and probably he who never made a mistake never made a discovery.

I've noticed that with v5 (I'm using voodoo), when Doggcatcher (podcasting app) updates feeds, the screen turns itself on for about ten seconds as if I had pressed the power button. I haven't experienced this with other kernels or with prior versions of Nyan. I'm using AOKP milestone 5.

Should I be concerned that the MD5 for the voodoo version isn't the same as posted? I have one that is..."a0e5cca4fdc856c4468f8188e5d0c871".
