Running this now. I like the new voodoo color settings. It seems to have fixed the screen flicker I had on the CM9 boot animation and occasionally on the stock email app.

Just tried this out. I can confirm that 100 mhz works, but there may be some issues with some governors. Voltage control sets mine to conservative on boot, and I noticed that it was stuck at 200 despite being under load from just booting up and the range was set to 100-1000. I confirmed in /sys that settings were right, so I don't think vc had anything to do with it. I briefly tried out all the other governors while it was still under load from booting, and all but ondemand and lazy seemed to get stuck at 200. After using ondemand for a while, I went back and tried conservative and then it worked better. Strangely, it seemed to idle at 200, although the stats did show it spending about half as much time at 100.

Otherwise, seems to work great. Oh yeah, logcat (lognayn?) is still missing.

Wait, are we supposed to use voltage control or NSTools?

Also how do I get it to go into deep sleep mode more frequently?

mDNIe stands for mobile Digital Natural Image engine.
In stock galaxy S2 rom; under Settings ->Display -> Screen mode, it shows a sample image and three preset profiles - Dynamic, Standard, and Movie. These adjust the brightness, sharpness, contrast on different screens/ in apps like camera.

Hmm, I can't get a GPS lock at all with that new test kernel. I've tried it several times where it always worked with previous kernels.

NSTools is preferred because it gives you more control and more options.

You should dl better battery stats and see what is keeping your phone from sleeping. Widgets, syncing and other rogue apps sometimes keep your phone from sleeping. Hope this helps....
