im getting a "security error" with the LG logo during boot with or w/o sim card & SD card. would this solution help?

edit: tried the unbrick solution guide and its a no-go, still get the security error upon boot.

Does anyone here know how to determine the partition table, the one that Machzelet showed in the first thread?

ie
boot.img at mmcblk0p8
recovery.img at mmcblk0p13
firmware.img at mmcblk0p1
baseband.img at mmcblk0p14
system.img at mmcblk0p27

I'm trying to determine this table for the P935.

It's the same. P935 and P930 are identical devices (besides LTE antenna).

Any problems backing up these partitions by dd without root permissions?

It requires root to do that.

any advice for security error on boot? i post this in the other thread after upgrading to leaked ICS:

"tried everything i can find to unbrick...fresh driver install, different usb cables, 3 different PCs on xp/7, tried both Machzelet (connection error) & kloz (update failure) methods, LG tools (connection error). more than likely this is going to LG for repair."

I hope its not completely bricked but i seen on the recovery method others have said it hard bricked theirs

Power off your device. Then hold Volume+ and connect your phone to the PC to get Download Mode. Then you can flash everything you want.
I recieved this error at least 20 times yesterday when I tried to change things in the system folder after getting root

For those who don't understand how it works:
KDZ file contains 5 images like: boot, recovery, firmware, baseband and system.
When you flash KDZ file on your device new images replace the old images that were before on the device. That means your device "forget" everything he "knew" before.
If you flash KDZ file on the rooted phone you gonna recieve unrooted phone after flashing.
If you want to install CWM on your device you have to get root before.
Every time you want to flash KDZ file I recommend to do this from Download mode (Volume+ & Power).
