Hi there,
Do I need any special preparation for this? Such as a new kernel or open bootloader? I have an ordinary arc, rooted. Refalshed with official generic 2.3.4, .56 baseband, build .0.42.
Or I just have to follow your instructions?
Multumesc

there is no need for separate flashing steps 4-6, now when you have "no final verification check".

Thanks for the answer.
I try that, but it didn't work.

Now i have no sound, but also no buzz at all. I miss all the calls and notifications (incoming calls, mails, sms, alerts....).
When i use it with bluetooth headphone or with jack headphone i ear all the sounds (but still no buzz). Without that, nothing.

Any idea plz ?.
Will try tomorrow an other ROM.

When applying it, replace any files from your installation with the ones in the update.zip

Once applied, in Help -> About you will have 0.7.0.0 version.

To flash ICS ftf, check the "No Final Verification Check" box. Check this box only for ICS bundles as I don't know how it would behave with GB bundles.

The flashtool update is not found, so I attach here, hope it helps. Just overwrite the files in the existing installation with the files therein.

PS : In any case, there's a latest flashtool already version 0.7.1.0

Yes.
I flashed this update to my normal "Arc" with locked bootloader.
