Lumia 800/900 crossover interop unlock?

As of today, the Lumia 800 has been interop unlocked (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1587650). I know some of the hardware differs, but could this same method of unlock be applied to the 900?

Okay, for those wondering this won't work. The 900's HW revision is too new. heathcliff74 is working on an unlock for the 900/newer 800 devices, though.

Yep - you can use the 2-key and USB plug-in trick to get the phone to post to device manager and see the "DLOAD" connection, but the bootloader is the later, locked type. This is the same one that means that newer 800 owners can't unlock their phones, either. Bummer.

Looks like we'll have to keep our eyes open for news from Heathcliff...

The native interop dll is a part of this xap, i'm hoping someone can figure out a way to take advantage of this and open up the 900 for interop unlock.
