As for updates, I'm not sure how that's going to work, especially device specific updates since it's carrier dependant and Telus doesn't have the 900.
I think even if it's unlocked, your phone (its product code) is registered as "Rogers" regarding to the updates. But your are lucky Rogers is better than AT&T for that.

- You have an LTE icon on the phone?
- Is the Internet Sharing feature working?
- Did you have to make special changes to the settings for your LTE connection to work? Changing APN, etc...
- As for the update from Nokia, you tried the Zune trick of dropping and reconnecting your internet connection or something like that?
I would like to see these answered as well.
Especially the LTE icon as well.

I'm on Bell, not Telus, but it should all be the same because as far as I know, Telus rents their LTE network from Bell.
1. I bought my unlock code from remotecellunlock.com for about $9 and it took around an hour for them to send me the code via email. (make sure you say it's a Lumia 900, not a Nokia 900, I made that mistake and wasn't able to get a code the first time around)
2. I went to a Bell store and they transfered my account from a regular SIM to a micro SIM.
3. The phone does display the LTE icon as long as I'm in LTE service, otherwise it'll display 4G (for HSPA+) or 3G, for HSPA - most of the time it displays 4G for me, since I'm apparently in a LTE dead zone, though, as soon as I walk outside my house, it switched over to LTE.
4. Internet sharing says it's locked, despite it being including in my cell plan. I have an iPad 3 with LTE through Bell, too, so it's not an issue for me.
5. I did have to change the APN in the settings to Bell's. There is currently no option to do so for MMS, only data. Data and cellular work fine, MMS does not, not a huge issue for me.
6. I tried the trick a few times, and was not prompted for an update. I'll wait a few days for it to come out officially. Nokia DID say the 16th.

Hope that helps.
In use: Nokia Lumia 920. Surface RT.
Retired: Nokia Lumia 900, Samsung Focus, Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant, Palm Pre.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you have the AT&T or Rogers device?

I was going to reply and then I saw this post. My experience mimics yours. Not sure why internet sharing is disabled if you aren't on Rogers. And yeah the Zune trick only works if the phone's carrier has the update but your phone hasn't been targeted for it yet.

Hmmmmmmmm......... Interesting. I can't get data to work on TELUS. Initially I thought it was the bug that has a patch incoming, but as I understand it, the problem should be intermittent. Does anyone have it working on TELUS yet?

I did. I tried with just the APN filled in, and also with the APN, proxy and port filled in. I've never gotten a single bit of data except through wifi.

Make sure to restart the device once you change the APN.

Also, it was a Rogers 900, not AT&T, as I'm in Canada.

Another, low importance, question:
- I figure that when you open the Marketplace you see both 'Nokias Collections' and 'Rogers' applications sections?
