Default Incorrect battery reporting?

I just got an A2 and restored the CWM stock deodex backup, and the battery level wouldn't go above 15%. I rebooted and then it would charge all the way to 100. I let it get down to 65%, rebooted again and now it reset itself back to 100. Why is this happening?

This is pretty typical behavior when flashing new roms. The battery can take a couple charging cycles before it stops acting weird.

Note that though the battery percentages may off, the correct battery voltage is still being reported to apps querying battery info. (at least in my experience)

Thanks for the info. Second question, I rebooted my phone and all of my social accounts as part of motoblur's social networking thing disappeared from the Accounts list, and if I try to add them back it says the account already exists. However, if I try to add the social networking widget, it asks me to add an account. Why did this happen?

I've had a similar issue in the past.
If I remember correctly I used sqlite editor to delete the problematic accounts from accounts storage ; com.motorola.blur.setupprovider / serviceaccounts.db / accounts ...

Use a battery calibration app after every rom flash. Search on the market.
