LG mytouch (C800)

There's already a CM under work for LG E739. Isn't the C800 of similar build. I wish developers took an interest in this model and build a custom efficient rom for it. The stock rom on it just sucks.

No and the devs refuse to work on it because "it's too different".

That development is never happening. Neither is the ICS update. Hope you didn't buy it on contract so it'll hurt $50 less to chuck it in the trash and get a Gnex.

I don't know if you knew this but LG C800 has a Recovery Utility. If you want to try it you could but I would recommend backing up your device. You probably already know how to factory reset (A+F+Volume Down+Power). I was doing that and when it showed the picture of the android unboxing I hit the home soft key and it brought up the utility. All it say is

reboot system now
apply update from sdcard
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

You scroll with the volume keys and you select with the enter button.
Maybe this is a new discovery and if it is then we could possibly get a custom roms.
