SGS2 USB Internet

Hi all,
a friend of mine has an HTC connected to his laptop.
His laptop is connected to internet via LAN.
When he connects his HTC to his PC via USB he can use a "shared" network connection and so he has internet on his smartphone without using WiFi and without 3G...
Tha feature is linked to the tool he uses to connect his HTC to his PC.

Do you know if it's possible to do that with my SGS2 ?
I installed Kies but I don't see anything concerning that...

yeah it's called "tethering". Look for an option that says "Wi-fi sharing" (on a stock Sammy ROM).
Watch out though, many providers forbid that (or overcharge heavily for it).
