Default [Q] Continuous boot into Recovery after nandroid restore

My Desire S Detail

*** UNLOCKED ***
SAGA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-2.00.0002
RADIO-3822.10.08.04_M
eMMC-boot

I unlocked using HTC Dev, installed EXT4 recovery did a full nandroid backup, restored it back to confirm that everything worked fine.
This was nandroid back up with everything stock on the phone. It all worked fine till here.

I then installed some custom ROMs, tested them then I decided to go back to my previous nandroid backup. Each time a ROM was installed I flashed boot.img file from bootloader.

I restored nandroid backup, flashed boot.img from nandroid backup from bootloader and rebooted the phone. It was stuck on HTC logo and then it booted into recovery and now whenever I boot it shows htc logo and then boots into recovery.

Is there any way to restore the backup and get everything working as before i.e stock rom.

My handset is from Taiwan so I do not have the latest RUU, I tried to install Europe latest RUU using a gold card but it fails giving error ID 131

Ur boot.img maybe corrupted
Happened to me also
Lock your fone back with htcdev and flash drive TUU for your fone or you can try to get the get d boot.img file from the RUU by starting it and then going to the temp file in your pc copy a ROM zip file... From there extract d boot.img file and flash it to your fone via fastboot
If that doesn't work then you may have to go with the option of relocking it and then flashing the specific RUU for the fone
Cheers
