could u explain what did u do on the installation ?

i mean step by step that uve already done ?

- Copy KA07_Xperia_SSpeed to your internal storage
- Flashed rooted .76 firmware Can be found here with instructions: Xperia S .76 FTF and prerooted system
- Flashed doomkernel
- Updated wifi modules
- in recovery: Advanced => Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Did a factory reset in recovery
- Choose "install zip from sdcard" and install KA07
rebooted...
it launched the boot animation and then the screen went black (like it says in the OP) and then it rebooted

I found in logcat that garbage collector is working to much when I do some scroll in application.

I googled about it and found the 'scrollingcache' function inside android making problem.

Some application developers recommend disable 'scrollingcache' in app's internal config.

But not all applications have disabled scrollingcache.

So the mod I'll do will disable the scrollingcache throughout the Android OS.

All apps will have no problem with scrollingcache.

I've had scrolling improvements with facebook,playerpro,poweramp,gallery apps , etc.

so i decided to make a flashable zip for the latest version of this rom.

The zip just replaces the framework.jar so no worrys about problems

It may work in Desire but I didn't see any difference in SXS.

So far so good with the ka07. Just had one or two incidents where the phone seems unable to wake from sleep when I push the power button. The transparent bar below lights up but the screen stays black. Anyone have the same experience?

Which kernel are you using? I suspect kernel, let us know the kernel version, cpu governer, io scheduler, did you undervolted it, etc
