Smile Works Great

Awesome ROM. Been running for almost a day and no issues. I especially like how the CPU governor allows under clocking to 125Mhz. Getting unbelievably low idle battery drain! Would like to see more addons but this is already my daily driver and its only your first release! Thanks !

This became my daily as soon as I realized I wasn't seeing hot boots once an hour.

1 request would be a flashable .zip to add back in the live wallpapers picker...

A note on TI: if the batch restore hangs on an app, I open up manage apps and force close TI. Then reopen app and resume batch restore. I've noticed restoring no more then 10 apps at a time reduces chances of TI getting stuck. But I've had no need to wipe caches and all that... it is an issue with TI compatibility with pics as it has happened to me on every ics build I've tried, even after restoring backups of apps that never ran on anything but an ics rom

Sent from my KWIQer than yours <EGicsEvo>

All you need is the live wallpapers.apk, and livewallpaperspicker.apk.. Put in system /apps, change permissions and reboot.,

I did ask in my in my first post about the difference with ICS and gingerbread(sense) roms because that was the first thing i thought of when i booted up this rom. I thought that AOSP was something different than what the manufacturers use on phones out the box. So are they using AOSP now or is this rom just based off of an AOSP rom with ICS baked into it? Im already getting used to it and really like it. I also installed the touchpad dialer app to use instead of the dialer that came with it. The only AOSP rom that I used a couple of months ago I remember having to apply a voicemail fix to get rid of that annoying symbol so maybe its the same with this one.
the version of ics that this is based off of is aosp. things like sense and touchwiz and so on are the manufacturers changing it oh so slightly with a new launcher and maybe some modified system stuff here and there but still underneath is still gingerbread or ics. here is a link to Google's explanation of what ice cream sandwich is LINK which is probably easier to understand than me trying to word everything lol anyways hope everything works for ya

TALKING about closed beta releases of software is REALLY disrespectful. Reporting CLOSED BETA results to a thread that has nothing to do it is just a waste of the time and everyones internet so ****ing stop

Well I was out with the kids and the camera kept force closing on me. I couldnt even take a pic when it did open up I might be able to get one pic in before FCing or if I tried to zoom or do anything it would FC. Then it would lock up the homescreen and the buttons would disappear. The only thing I could do is reboot and wipe like crazy but as soon as I booted back up it would start doing it again. Before i flashed the rom I wiped everything except the sd card like 6 times and then ran the superswipe 4 times. I was on mikg3.11 before this rom. Any ideals on what to do next short of doing a hard reset and reinstalling? I will give it til tomorrow to settle down though.

The included camera is a definite issue. Rom settling in so to speak will not resolve this. I plan on addressing this in the next release. Sorry for the inconvenience, if you want to try an aosp rom with FULL functionality that is fast and stable, check out this- http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1534680
