you know, i shouldnt care because like others have said if you want ICS that bad just root, there are so many flavors of ICS available now for the Sensation, be AOSP or Sense 3.6/4.0 but it kinda bothers me that some people waited because of T-mobiles statement that ICS was "officially" coming soon starting in march, and they pushed it back and people understood, but now they are pushing it back again, for what seems to be a very obvious reason...., oh well guess in July I'm picking up a Nexus instead of the One S just to avoid this, as stupid as some may see it

HTC has been working hard to get its Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades ready, and we’re excited to announce that our first round of ICS upgrades will roll out by the end of March for the HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Sensation XE, followed soon there after by the HTC Sensation XL.
In addition, we can confirm Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades will be coming later this year to the HTC Rezound, HTC Vivid, HTC Amaze 4G, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G, HTC Incredible S, HTC Desire S and HTC Desire HD. Stay tuned for more updates on Ice Cream Sandwich releases in the coming weeks.
Then, later when the date was going to missed, they came with additional statements such as:
Quote:
Update: For futher updates, please check out this post on the official HTC Blog.
Also, please note that roll-outs for the HTC Sensation, and HTC Sensation 4G are underway, but some carriers and countries will get the update in the near future (particularly those in the US). We'll post more information on the blog on timing.
HTC and T-Mobile are working together to provide software updates, including one that improves the experience of the HTC Sensation 4G and incorporates Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The release and schedule for future updates are yet to be determined. This document will be updated when details become available. For more information on the software update process, see: Software updates for Android.

The reason people are upset, because HTC put out a date. But are they mad at HTC for offering an update with bugs and claiming a date that they have no control over? Nope. Nobody cares that HTC is out making statements when they have no control over things. HTC set this up and it's going lovely for HTC. Because instead of people blaming who should be blamed, HTC, they're blaming the carrier. The carrier is simply trying to get HTC to deliver something that won't be as buggy. I hope T-Mobile holds the line on HTC till WiFi calling fully works 100%, because that's something even now all of us using custom ROMs still have issues with. So we totally need T-Mobile to get HTC to get the ICS update to fully work with T-Mobile's WiFi calling. (And if you say WiFi calling on ICS works for you 100% already, try using it in an area with a weak WiFi signal. You'll find a Sensation with Gingerbread does WiFi calling much better under such conditions.) It would make abosolutely no sense, for T-Mobile to release an "update" that hobbles an important feature that T-Mobile Sensation owners are used to having, reliable WiFi calling.

We've had plenty of these threads. Who gives a ****? Does it surprise anyone when a carrier is slow to release an update?
You're not required to care. I do. I made the thread and will make another if I feel the need arises. There are plenty of other threads around that you can enjoy that may suit your liking. But I really don't care that you don't care.
