Well, the Rezound came, oddly enough with two back covers. I called them to find out what happened and they told me. They stated that it should also have come with the beats headphones, but didn't. I guess if I opt to keep the phone, I can make a few bucks from the buds.

Too bad I hate the interface for this phone. Though its snappy, I forgot how much I hate the interface for these phones. Already telling myself its okay to keep the Charge with the audio issue and to send back the Rezound.

I'm giving myself a couple to few days to try and like it, but all that'll do is net me wasted time with reloading the phone and still not liking it. It just feels like a fat Eris.

Thank you to everyone that replied, pm, etc. imnuts and jt, I'm trying to get rid of this phone to cross over to the Nexus side of things. Now I just need to get this thing traded. I got two offers, so I'll have to see which one is easier to swap.

Definitely the Rezound. Hands down the best out of all those choices. You're lucky they gave you that option to get a new one. Usually they stick you with a replacement that is the same. Not saying the Charge is a bad phone because I'm running Tweaked 2.0 and I'm very impressed with it.

So my 7th charge is still doing the loud chirping during calls and now needs to have the data switched on and off to get mobile data back. Tier 2 support thinks it just ate the sim card, which is fine, but I talked them into sending me a Rezound provided his supervisor approves the order. I'll keep you posted on whether or not it goes through. I'll bet the call/data issues are all sim card but all tier 1 support wants to do send out cln devices. When/if the Rezound comes, they suggested going and getting a new sim card. Fingers crossed.

Thanks Cujo, it's been a wild ride and you guys have been great help. If I didn't rely on my phone for business I'd just put up with it.

So far the order is going through. It should be here early next week. The wife's charge was doing the same thing and I was able to get tier2 to send a rezound out for her as well. We went into the local corporate store and they said it is software related and that they see it all the time. Sim card will not fix call issues, only data. I plan on just using the rezound until the next set of phones come out.

If you are having to constantly get a new SIM card, odds are that there is a hardware issue with the phone. While a new SIM card may fix the issue, odds are that it is going to keep coming back until you get the phone replaced. It seems like there are people that have data issues all the time on both the Galaxy Nexus and DROID Charge, and swapping in a new SIM is the answer most times, but on the Nexus, people are getting them swapped out with new units and the problem stops.

Setup a Development Environment
Setup and Use the Android SDK
Stock Odin Restore files

You can find the answer to all of your questions right here. If that doesn't work, then try this or this

Rezound came today. It's fast! Will take some getting use to. All I've ever had was Samsung. Omnia, fascinate, and charge. Might root it so I can set all my apps back up.
