Default [Q] Vivid Gyroscope issues

I noticed that on my new vivid that was shipped with ICS or android 4.0 that my gyroscope is not working correctly. I try to play doodle jump and it wont move the guy from the left to right. Anyone else have this issue? Also any fixes?

You probably need to calibrate your G-sensor goto Settings>Display>G-sensor Calibration and see if that rectifys the problem.

Iactually did that twice and when I move the phone left to right it does not move the bubbles. It's like the phone does not know it has one

Seems like the best bet would be a factory reset and if that doesnt fix it try to get a return or swap it out if you can. I dont know how you purchased this but at&t should be happy to replace it.

Got some similar issues with my Vivid, not in games but in other applications when the phone is almost horizontal it turns around without movement of my part. Going to investigate a little more
