safest way is to go back to GB via PC Odin

Just one quick confirmation before I do my update from V4 to V5.1.

Can you apply zips of V5 then directly V5.1 within recovery? Then boot.

Or shall I install zip of V5, then boot in V5, let it finish installation, then go back to recovery and only apply v5.1?

I am from official GB rom update to official ICS 4.03,
Flash Abyss Kernel 4Abyss Kernel 4.2 , CWM flashing Rocket Rom V2

currently, I wish to flash Criskelo Rom 5.0 - 5.01
what should do?

Can I using following steps:
1. CWM full wipe
2. CWM flash Criskelo Rom v5 then following by V5.1?

If you want to move from Rocket Rom V2 to Criskelo's V5 on.....

You need to go with Abyss 4.2 if you want to do a full wipe. Wiping data with CWM is not really recommended.

So Abyss 4.2, full wipe, Criskelo V5 followed by 5.1 on CWM recovery, since at that point you will not be doing any wipes.

What I mean is that if you are on ICS, and you want to use a GB kernel for whatever reason, Abyss is not mandatory...CF root or Speedmod will do just fine.

Specially when restoring GB nandroid backup, you should always use the GB kernel you used to make that backup....

Allow me another question:
- does anybody have an issue updating the apps in Google Play?

I had this issue since V3. As I did not see others having this huge issue, I guess it is only me...

Do you think a full wipe would solve the problem? Thanks.
