Default Strange Problem this Morning: Plugged in headset and the 900 rebooted

It only happened once. It was not the earbuds, but a regular Koss headset. Plugged it in, and poof...reboot.

I've heard of other devices having this problem. Was going to run over to Nokia support and drop it on their boards....Can't repro it though.
Regards

This happened to me one time a few days ago. I plugged into the mp3 aux cable in my car and the screen froze then the phone rebooted. I cant reproduce it and have plugged and unplugged headphones/mp3 cables many times since then. Im going to take it as a rare bug since you seem to have a similar problem.

Was music playing when you plugged in. Weird things happen when I do on both my Surround and L900. But if I pause the music first. No problems.

Happened to me also. Plugged in a pair of headphones and the phone rebooted. Thought it was odd, but hasn't happened since.

Also happened to me once and has never happened again. I was not playing music when I plugged in and my headset was HTC earbuds from the HTC Arrive.

And you know what, it happened to me again last night. Like you, no music, just plugging in ear buds. But, for me, I have a bumper on my phone. I think the buds plug in did not quite fit securely in place. I have heard of alot of phones rebooting because of a earphone jack plugin...especially one that does not seat 100%....

Have to watch this....
Regards
