Make sure you are jumping the right points. The phone should not shut off that I am aware. Edit: If you are just unlocked and not planning to flash splash screens or use the recovery to flash all at once instead of completing kernel through the bootloader, no advantage what-so-ever.

Mine actually shuts off too quite often and I usually have to pull the battery. Then once I get it to start where it left off, I get that 66732337 error.

Yea, I rarely get it to reboot. I am so annoyed.

Also, if i pressed it the 3rd time the phone comes back on... wtf.

I wish there was someone who could tell us what the 667 error code really means. In the instructions they say if it says still sober that you got the wire trick wrong, but I have to imagine since this is a specific error, it must mean something.

try tapping it 3 times and see if the phone boots back up. Mine does.

Man, I am almost positive I am getting the timing right. I just did it, using that timer and as soon as I hit it the second time, it rebooted as it should and I still got that 667 error. There has to be something else wrong here other than the timing....

I think there is something else besides the timing too.

If I made this app, and I think the guys must think similar to me given all the beer references, I would have made that specific error number just to screw with everybody's mind a little.

I saw that same error... EVERYTIME I failed. Trust me, its just your timing. Maybe you need a few beers yourself before you try again??

But it just seems so strange that I seem to nail the timing darn near perfect on that timing file that someone posted. It can't be THAT picky where there are people doing it on their first or second try.

Did this for 10+ hours today. No Joke.
