just out of interest for those that have unlocked did it change your CID? id be interested in this to be able to get OTA updates promptly

Unfortunately not. I'm with 3 & still had to wait for their update. This just means you can use any sim.

Damn oh well slim hope I know but was worth checking, as I only have a three micro sim I think I will wait until we finally get S-OFF and there will be a free manual unlock.

true but why spend anything if it gains me nothing? I only have the one micro sim and probably wont have any others for a year or two so for me theres no need for a sim unlock yet. Sure many people need it and its a great deal.

Talking I am happy...
just unlocked my phone with £1.48.I've recived the code in under 5 minutes.I can't belive it.I must admit I was a bit skeptical....but....it worked.
I am on 3 and they said it will cost me about £15.

Ugh! Mega annoyed. I tried the eBay listing as well as 2 other unlocking sites, no one seems to have my IMEI in their DB!

Damn One X on Orange. Anyone have any idea how,long it usually takes for an imei to 'enter' a DB?

I will say this though, the eBay seller is a prompt dude. Anyone having any doubts need to give it a try.

I used this with 100% success......unlocked from Orange UK to o2, so thanks to the OP, I would perhaps have found this myself, but this is where I saw it first so cheers. Code literally took minutes to arrive, probably under ten. Happy days.
