NEAK has always included NEON optimisations

Call me a noob, but something tells me that when you update the source you develope a few new bugs?

Nothing slow at all to me, just switched back from your latest kennel release. I'll report back in a couple days more "battery" educated.

I used vr ondemand and never got sluggishness or anything. Runs great!

3. Wait
4. See if you have a wakelock

More than likely it always will cus to show you a notification the kernel needs to do stuff to show you the notification or else it would not work, so either way whether it is in the form of a wakelock or what, the kernel will have to do extra things and will use more battery.

I haven't experienced the "super lag" since flashing 2.0.5 and I just updated aokp to 5/22. Everything is still running great here.
