Good job UFO,
Flashed the rom last night and in the process of daily use testing.
So far, have not had any problems but have couple of remarks.
-I have used Legza's 1percent patch to make battery indicator show 1% step change during charging/discharging (attached) - consider including it in the built
-Auto brightness is not as bad as on other CM9 roms but not so responsive to sunlight...it takes some time.
-Other CM9 legacy issue is that Caps Lock on physical keypad does not work, i.e. double pressing Shift does not give Caps Lock but gives Alt Lock instead. - fixed it myself
-And it would be nice to have rom overclocked...i used MS2 Toolbox to do that, but still feel like vsel values are high.
-One other suggestion is to consider including Moto's/GB MIUI Task Manager in the built - find it very useful and user friendly - copied it across myself

Will keep feeding back if I find any new issues or suggestions.


Edit 1: As an addition to above found the following issues, but these may be just on me, so requires further confirmation:
- Data Monitor does not count data, always shows zero and does not update automatically, can be updated manually. Automatic update ask for carrier but on the drop down list only Chinese carrier appear.

Are there any improvements on MIUI for this new v4 or it's just a port for ICS.

I'm using will5 MIUI WajkIUI 2.5.25 and it works very well, so is it worth to update to this one?

I'd recomment sticking with Will5 for now - a lot of imporvements have been made to this, but you'll regret having to flash a new sbf, which is time consuming to downgrade - and hardware acceleration still isn't functional, so it isn't as quick or useable as Will5's Froyo MIUI

i ve problem with 3g data,

My operator is free mobile. in france.


Sometimes the 3g data stop. And i have to toggle the widget to get the connection back.


Any idea??

I have problems with 3g too (brazil TIM)
this ROM really have problems with data.. Alpha 1 dont have :/

I have never experienced 3g problem but I had to revert back to Will's rom since GPS wasn't working and I couldn't fix it myself.
I was able to fix some of the issues I listed before but unfortunately GPS was the showstopper.
