Great thanks Mark. I'm not too familiar with rooting etc but is it as simple so as loading up the toolkit and there is an option there to flash stock recovery, do this, run the ota, go back to toolkit and root again?

Thanks heaps!

Yep I would assume so I have not had alot of dealings with flashing OTA updates but that sounds right. Let me know how it goes.

oh man... You have a LOT of downloads on dev host! That's just crazy.

As soon as I can afford a Sprint SGS3, I'll do a video on that.

Plus, I'll try to redo this version since it roots Jelly Bean!

Only problem is, this version of Jelly Bean is already rooted! lol

LOL well I guess since toroplus isnt officially supported by google they wont receive
any OTA updates to 4.1 but I had to add 4.1 support in the ToolKit for all the functions that require insecure kernel. You do some great informational videos you should do one for the GNex ToolKit after the 7.5 update with the new Auto Update function added (for donators) .

13500 downloads in 4 days isnt too bad I guess there are more Nexus owners than I thought

Hmmmmm. That sounds like a PLAN! I've learned a bit since the video I made on v6.0, and how to maximize screen space to make the video of the phone bigger. Plus the audio will be better, as I'm getting better at syncing two video sources with two audio sources.

Oh, and thanks for the kind (positive) feedback!

My Verizon GNex is currently unlocked, unrooted, and on 4.04 ICS. Do I have to root my device in order to flash Jelly Bean 4.1.1 to it with the toolkit? Also, do I have to get the necessary images from somewhere myself or are they part of the toolkit? I would like to remain unrooted if possible.

You're in the Sprint section, that could be your problem.
