Default Kernel won't change and WiFi error

So here's the deal..

I'm s-on and using a custom ROM for gsm, I'd like to see that my devices installed with King Cobra ROM, and use an anthrax or leedroid or anryl kernel without having wifi error issue, couple thing that I've done:

1. I'm installing king cobra ROM and using anryl kernel, but in software information it says htc stock kernel, wifi error..
2. I tried to push a boot.img to adb folder and do a fastboot flash boot boot.img, the wifi still error..
3. So i go to recovery mode and reflash only the kernel to a stock kernel, then a wifi work..
4. I was tried another way using a flash image gui to flash a kernel, but still the same. The wifi won't work and the kernel won't change.

Anyone can figured out why this happened to me?
The thing is i was encountered at king Cobra, whatever the kernel is, the wifi won't work, it's only work with a stock kernel.
Do i need to s-off my devices to flash any kernel?
I believe that i missed some step that make a kernel i flashed won't flash and WiFi error showed up. Please advise.. Any advise and help will be appreciated.

You have s on that means you cant flash a kernal like someone that has s off so what you need to do is go to market and dowload the g u i app and you can flash your kernal that way

Open the GUI app and you will have two choices one is to flash kernal and I believe the second choice is recovery but you two choose flash kernal this will be at the top of the list from this point you will flash the same way you flash a Rom its just that easy

Dont worry about finding the kernal zip its in the same zip folder along with your Rom just choose your Rom and it will flash the kernal for you I know this sound confusing but it not all you need to do is choose the Rom that you have already flashed and it will flash the kernal and your done

So, for the kernel file itself is already in the zip rom, right? So all i need is pointing flash image gui to the directory of my custom ROM zip in sd card? Am i correct?

Yes you are correct the rom has a kernel inside the zip file. Flash image GUI finds and extracts the kernel
