[Q] Phone won't charge (even with orange light on)

so i recently encountered a problem with my phone, it won't charge. i plug in the cable to charge it, light turns on yet my battery still drains. I have tried different cables and even batteries. I researched and found out many other users have had the same problem.

i'm here to ask what i need to do to return the phone under warranty.
i just UNrooted the phone and got it back to froyo 2.2 and s-on again (after it being rooted w/ revolutionary).---is that good enough?

if not, i can't seem to figure out which gingerbread ruu i need to install. i found this website http://goo.im/stock/vivow/ruu but don't know which one to download and install. could anyone guide me in the right direction? thanks!

There's a q and a section for a reason.

This can be ran to get you too stock 2.3.4 I thinks
